ExitReality is not only limited to a 3D web experience, it also includes a 3D chat platform that allows you to chat with anyone across the 3D web.

‘Chat’ is a feature that is integrated into the ExitReality user interface that allows you to communicate with other people that are in the same 3D webpage as you. When you convert a website into 3D, you will be able to see others that are currently at the same destination.
Chatting in ExitReality allows you to meet other people with similar interests, strike up conversations, make contacts and travel across and meet other interesting people in 3D. You can arrange regular meetings with your friends to meet and chat on a webpage in 3D or strike up conversations with avatars that you meet along the way.
The following video is an example of how the 3D chat function works within ExitReality.

In addition to talking to other users you can interact in other ways by right-clicking on another user’s icon in the chat window, and selecting an option from the drop-down menu. Here are some instructions to get you started:

• Select the ‘Beam To’ option to instantly teleport over to where that user is located in the 3D space. You can also double-click on a user’s Icon to ‘beam’ to them.
• Select the ‘Whisper’ option to send private messages to other people
• Select the ‘Send Chat Macro’ option to ‘wave’, ‘agree with’, ‘dislike’ or ‘smile’ at another user. These chat macros will be published in the chat window and also cause you avatar to animate.
• If a user is being annoying, you can ignore them with the ‘Ignore’ option
