Written by admin on October 3, 2008 – 1:21 am -Navigating the entire 3D web is simple and easy. Why not explore the ExitReality Plaza, your 3D website or the countless virtual worlds searchable at ExitReality.
When you first enter a 3D webspace, you will see your avatar in front of you. Move your avatar across the 3D space by holding down the Right Mouse Button, then point the cursor in the direction that you would like your avatar to travel in.
Additionally, you can also navigate using the arrow keys on your keyboard or the arrow icons that appear on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The scroll wheel on the mouse enables your avatar to look up or down.
You can move quickly from one location to another by simply Double Right Clicking on either an object or a building that you would like to move towards.
Did you know that your avatar can fly? To Fly, press Ctrl+Shift+F. Move your avatar in the direction that you want to go, look up with the Scroll Wheel on your mouse, then hold the Right Mouse Button down and move the mouse forward and your avatar will fly up in that direction. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+W will return you back to walking mode.
You can return your avatar back to the starting location (the first place that you landed when you first entered the site) by pressing the ‘Esc’ or Escape button on your keyboard.
More helpful information on navigation can be accessed by clicking on the Help tab on the ExitReality dashboard (top-right corner of the page).
